Based in the Palestine, Tuqan Soap Factory is one of the historical landmarks in Nablus, located in the northern West Bank. Situated in the northwestern corner of Al-Tuta Square, which is central to the Qaryoun neighborhood in Nablus, the factory is dedicated to producing traditional Nabulsi soap. Established during the Ottoman era in the 19th century, it stands as a testament to the city’s rich history.

The historic Tuqan Soap Factory is owned by the Tuqan family, who were prominent figures and local rulers of Nablus in the 18th and 19th centuries. The soap-making industry in Nablus is an ancient and significant tradition, reflecting the city’s industrial and the importance of this product to its economic and cultural history.
