What is it? African Botanics Pure Marula Oil is an antioxidant-rich face oil that contains single origin, cold pressed Marula oil, especially wonderful for dull, dry,balanced, mature and sensitive skin.
Notes from the Curator: This is an extraordinarily high quality, highly stable Marula oil extracted from wild growing Marula trees in South Africa. Julia and Craig, the founders sustainbly source a South African heirloom variety that is smaller in size but richer in antioxdiants and other nutrients.The oil is extracted from the Marula seeds using patented supercritical extraction methods to ensure quality, nutrient density and efficacy.
Let’s get Nerdy: The Marula tree has a history that dates back thousands of years and is known as the Tree of marriage and is a symbol of fertility. Marula Oil has been used for generations by the indigenous people of Africa to moisturize their skin but also as an edible oil by the San people of Southern Africa. - How to Use
For face, neck and décolleté, warm 5 - 8 drops of Pure Marula Oil in the palms of your hands. Gently press and release to cleansed and toned skin AM / PM to lock in moisture, while skin is still damp. Use as a deeply regenerating boost or as a revitilizing moisturizer. May be used on its own, mixed or layered before your daily skin care, makeup and SPF for luminous and nourished skin.
Skin Type: Suitable for all skin types including normal, dry, mature, environmentally damaged and extremely sensitive skins.
