Let’s Get Nerdy: Did you know Glycation is a process which is caused by the presence of excess glucose in skin fibers. This excess triggers an internal reaction in which sugar molecules adhere to the collagen and elastin proteins, which normally help keep skin firm and supple. Terminalia Chebula is an Ayurvedic herb used medicinally for centuries. Topically its clinically proven to be a powerful glycation inhibitor, free radical neutralizer and oxidase enzyme inhibitor while preserving collagen 1 & 2. The serum also has Banksia Cellular Extract which is rich in amino acids, ellagic acid, phenolic acid, and flavone glycocides which work to improve elasticity, and support collagen production. Finally Shiitake Mushroom Cellular Extract a rich source of kojic acid which effectively reduces hyperpigmentation and brightens skin tone. Its also rich in enzymes and B vitamins.
